When entering the facility each child will be designated a “cubby” for shoes in the main lobby. All parents are required to sign-in prior to their child participating in any activities at The Laughing Laboratory. If your child is attending one of our labs and arrive early feel free to play in the common area till the start of your class. Parents are not allowed to leave until their child/ren are escorted to their scheduled class.

Please be curtious to our closing staff and arrive before closing. There is a $1.00 charge per minute, per child when you arrive after closing.
The Laughing Laboratory is a drop-in play and learning facility and NOT a daycare. We are mandated by Georgia guidelines for drop-in care.
Most of our employees are students working on their Early childhood education degrees or current educators. All are CPR & First Aid certified and have passed State and Federal background checks.

Yes! Our multi family discount is applied when more than one sibling is attending our facility at the same time. The first child will be regular price followed by 50% discount for second child, 50% for third child and so on. As an example, if your children came to our location for 1 hour of drop-in play, you would pay $12 for the first child and $6 for the second. Don’t forget to check out our packages for more savings.
Only listed authorized persons with photo ID on file will be allowed to pick-up / drop-off your child. If someone other than parent or guardian were picking up the child he/she would be released to the people listed on the registration only after photo has been seen.
No, we do not allow outside food during drop-in hours due to children having different allergies. We have a snack bar that your child can choose from and the parent can prepay before checkout. Children requiring formula and baby food is allowed.
Parents with children in diapers (not potty trained) will need to bring enough diapers and wipes for their stay. Children who run out of diapers will be charged $3.00 per diaper. Children who run out of wipes will be charged $5.00 per pack. Children are required to wear socks in the facility at all times. At your convenience socks can be purchased for $3.00. Please refrain from bringing toys from home. Blankets and pillows are welcomed during our drive-in movie nights.
No, The Laughing Laboratory does not administer medications except in life threatening situations (EPI PEN). Please do not send medications with your child.
All tuition & fees are due at the time of registration. No spot can be reserved without payment. Tuition & fees are non refundable. Refunds are offered before the third lab only, minus a $50 non-refundable deposit and the price for sessions already attended.
It is never to late to sign up for a class! If a spot is still available your tuition will be pro rated based on the number of labs remaining.
We know situations arise. If you have to miss a lab, please call and let us know. Labs can be made up by substituting the missed lab for another lab on a different day or time. Call 24hrs in advance to make sure space is available. If no arrangement is made for the missed lab it is considered void. All labs missed must be made up during the same session.
All parties are 90 minutes. This includes our private party room and play areas. Gaming party packages are 2.5 hours (different rates apply).
Spots fill up quickly. We suggest you reserve your spot 2-3 weeks in advance.
All parties require a 50% deposit on the day you secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the party. Cancellations are required 2 weeks in advance to receive deposit back.
Yes, but no peanut products due to children’s allergies. If you would like us to provide food an additional cost of $6.00 per person is required. Please advise us 72hrs before the event.
We allow the host family to arrive 15 min before the event if we are catering and 30 minutes before the event for the host family to set up decorations. If providing own decorations your are responsible for taking them down.
Absolutely! You will just be required to sign the proper forms and show photo ID to pick-up.
The Laughing Laboratory reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations. If The Laughing Laboratory refuses a registration, registrants will be offered a refund. The Laughing Laboratory reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If The Laughing Laboratory cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. In the case of inclement weather, the The Laughing Laboratory follows the Cobb County Government schedule. If an event is cancelled or The Laughing Laboratory is closed, it will be posted on the The Laughing Laboratory website and social media pages. If the schools in that jurisdiction are closed, the event is cancelled. For example, if Cobb County Schools are closed on the morning of The Laughing Laboratory event is cancelled.
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an individual ticket is three business days (72 hours) before the event. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted in person or over the phone and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be issued by original payment method. These above policies apply to all The Laughing Laboratory events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials.
